Great news! You can now use Teamweek Button to import tasks from anywhere and add a task straight from the browser. By choosing the right Workspace from the settings, you can make sure it ends up in the right place.

We’ve made sure it resembles more to the webapp’s task creation and implemented a more intelligent user and project selection so that it would be more intuitive and easier to use.

How to Use Teamweek Button

First of all, install the Extension into your Google Chrome browser.

If you wish to add a task from anywhere in the web, be it a webtool, your email or a random web page:

  1. select the text you would like to import,
  2. use right click
  3. select Teamweek Button from the menu.

It will automatically set the text you selected as the name of the task. Then you can allocate the task to a user and file it under your preferred project.

If you want to add a task that does not require copying text to the task menu, just click Teamweek Button on the right of your browser’s address bar.

We feel great pride for this update and we hope you find it as useful as we have. If you have any feedback, please don’t hold back. We’re here to listen.
