Project dashboard

We are happy to introduce the new project view – new look, new features! Not only is it a lot nicer than the previous version, it has many long requested features that will make your planning life so much easier. Even so much that we are proudly calling it the Project Dashboard.

First, the project dashboard now displays all the tasks and subtasks associated with this project. You can view them, add new tasks and subtasks or make changes to existing ones. You can even assign them to your team – and this is reflected in the Timeline, automagically.

Another feature request ticked off is the task search. You can now search among the tasks and subtasks of this project, filter by dates or person responsible. And the search is blazing fast so that you will not waste time using it.

You can mark tasks and subtasks done from the project view, giving the overview within that project you were missing. If you want to mark done obsolete tasks you can just filter them out using search, then tick the boxes and… You’re done! And if you are using Basecamp, this will be reflected there as well after the next sync.

For information on how you can best utilize the new project dashboard please head over to our Knowledge Base. Comments, as always, are welcome. Happy Planning!

The new project look doesn´t work in my case. I often add subtasks or tasks and they don´t appear after saving. Also the site is often reloading without me doing anything…..

If there are several people adding tasks and subtasks at the same time (even on the timeline) the project view tries to reflect that and display new items, if any. We have now improved the loading so that the management of the tasks in project view is not hindered by loading other tasks in the background. If you are still experiencing issues please write to our support!

Where can I find the new Project Dashboard?

It’s so much easier to plan & estimate with a small team when I can see everyone & all projects at once.
